BWF ITO (International Technical Official) – Line Judge Cycle 2027-2030
Dear Members,
Every two years we have an opportunity to nominate line judges to Badminton Europe to become a BWF ITO Line Judge for a 4 year period. At present we have Mike Spear and Andrew Elias as our representatives. You can find a full list here

Around June 2026 your Committee will be asked to put forward our nominations for this wonderful opportunity. In order to be prepared and to respond to the request promptly we will be starting the process now.
I am the chair of the BWF ITO Nominations Subcommittee, and therefore it is my and my team’s responsibility to manage the whole process from volunteering, validating and finally making the nominations.

If you fulfil all of the criteria and are interested in this applying for this post, please send an email to our Secretary Andrew Peacock (ampeacock@googlemail.com , who will collate and forward your response to me & my subcommittee. Please write a short CV with details of your experience to support your application.
Please note that you also need to have completed the basic Umpiring Course or the special Line Judge Umpiring Course run by our Association.
Therefore, if you would like to apply and have not done either of the above umpiring courses, please let us know about this missing element, so we can help resolve it for you.
