Updated Return To Play Roadmap April 2021

By now, you will have seen the news that the country is moving to Step 2 next week, which means the removal of further restrictions – and most importantly, the first step in the return of indoor badminton.

While we welcome the government announcement, and badminton moves one step closer to returning at all levels, we share the frustrations of many of our clubs and members who are still be unable to return at this. Despite lobbying government for further loosening of restrictions, with our CEO Adrian Christy pushing for a return to play alongside other indoor sports, it’s clear that a cautious approach is being taken to all indoor activity across sport and beyond..
